JamiiRide Inc. (“JamiiRide,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is a Canadian-registered company providing ride-booking services through our platform, available online and via mobile application. Our services are currently offered in various international locations, including Grenada.
By using our services, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. Governing Law and Jurisdiction These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario. Users operating or booking rides in Grenada or elsewhere must also comply with applicable local laws.
2. Description of Services JamiiRide connects riders with independent, locally licensed, and insured drivers for transportation services. We do not provide transportation services directly; we facilitate the connection between riders and third-party service providers.
3. User Eligibility and Conduct To use our services, you must be at least 18 years of age or have the consent of a legal guardian. You agree to:
Provide accurate information when creating an account
Use the service for lawful purposes only
Treat drivers and other users respectfully and without discrimination
Not engage in disruptive, illegal, or unsafe behavior during rides
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
4. Driver Terms All drivers using JamiiRide must:
Be locally licensed in their country of operation (e.g., Grenada)
Maintain valid commercial auto insurance
Pass background and driving record checks
Operate as independent contractors, not as employees of JamiiRide
JamiiRide is not liable for the acts, omissions, or conduct of any driver.
5. Booking and Payments Rides can be booked via the JamiiRide website or through the OneJamii app and website. Fares are displayed upfront and may vary based on location, time, distance, and vehicle type.
Accepted payment methods include credit/debit cards and other local options where applicable. Payments are processed securely, and receipts are provided via email or app.
6. Cancellation Policy
Full refund if cancelled more than 24 hours before scheduled pickup
50% refund if cancelled between 24 and 2 hours before pickup
No refund if cancelled within 2 hours of pickup
JamiiRide reserves the right to cancel bookings due to weather, safety, or operational issues
7. Liability and Disclaimers JamiiRide is not responsible for:
Delays, cancellations, or accidents caused by third-party drivers
Loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings during rides
Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our services
Our services are provided “as is” and “as available.”
8. Privacy and Data Protection We comply with Canadian privacy regulations (PIPEDA). Your data is collected, stored, and used to facilitate services, improve user experience, and ensure safety. For full details, please review our Privacy Policy.
9. Modifications to Terms JamiiRide reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on our website and app with a new effective date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
